Workin' 9 to 5.....

As the final day of Internships approached, I wondered how I could put an end to such an interesting experience.

For 6 weeks, I interned at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect from the 6 weeks. Immediately, I was met by friendly people, very welcoming and very willing to help me with anything I needed. Given the nature of the organization, I was so surprised to see such a positive atmosphere. Everyone at NCMEC has been so amazing and have really contributed to what I see as a very unique learning experience for me. For 3 weeks I worked on a document about success stories and just seeing the amount of recoveries in that short space of time was incredible. The work that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children do is of great importance in aiding missing and exploited children of all ages. The staff at the organization are so positive and dedicated and it was a pleasure to intern with them. The people at NCMEC and the organization itself are nothing short of inspirational and I am very grateful to them for such an educational and inspirational internship.
